Description Individuals with an interest in environmental matters were invited to discuss the feasibility of joining the ACUPCC, as approved by the President. The committee discussed how to integrate activities into the curriculum as well as co-curricular activities.

Yes: We currently purchase 6.5% of our electricity needs from renewable sources through our supplier. We also installed a solar panel system, but it has only been operating for about 4 months. At the end of the calendar year we will have collected enough data to calculate the percentage produced against our total consumption.

Yes: We plan to engage the student-run Conservation Club as well as the Environmental Studies students to help choose activities and to join the competition. We have some recycling efforts in place, but much more work needs to be done.
