Description The President's office considered the Climate Commitment's elements with faculty Sustainability Center Coordinators and Facilities Management and Planning leadership, and out of those conversations developed a task force composed of students, faculty, and administrators in Facilities, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs and Fiscal Affairs, chaired by the executive assistant to the President.

1. Establish a policy that all new campus construction will be built to at least the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Silver standard or equivalent.
